Sending Scanned Document via E-mail

For Large Copiers

1. Press the [Home] button to make sure you are on the home screen.

2. Click [Send].

3. Place the originals on the glass, or in the document feeder.

4. In the basic screen for sending, select [Address Book].*

5. In the top left of the screen click [Address Book\\//] and change it to [SMOLIN ADDRESS].

6. Click on the blank box and enter your name to search. (You can enter as few as 3 letters).

7. Click [Ok] twice. 

8. Click the box next to your name, and click [Email] at the bottom left.

9. Click [Ok], then the [Start] button.

· Please note that if you are scanning multiple jobs at once, you may replace steps 4-8 with selecting the [Recall] key in the middle of the screen and simply click [Start] once your email address displays.




For Smaller Printers (Recommend only small document sizes of 20 pgs or less)

1. Press the [Menu] button to make sure you are on the home screen.

2. Click on [Scan to Email].

3. Click on [Addr. Book].

4. In the bottom right corner click [LDAP].

5. Click [LDAP Search] and click on the blank box to search for your name.

6. Type in [your name] (three letters will be sufficient) and click [Search].

7. Click on [your name] and click [Close].

8. Push the [Start] button.

 

· Please note that if you are scanning multiple jobs at once, you may replace steps 3-8 with selecting [Job History] in the top middle of the screen and then selecting your email address from the list of 5 most recent.
