How to reset your windows password


Note: It is recommended that you change your password when physically located at the office whenever possible.



In Office


1. On your local desktop (not RDS), press CTRL+ALT+DEL

2. Click on Change Password

3. Enter your old password and enter a new password twice

4. Done, log off RDS and reboot your computer


Out of Office 


1. On RDS, press CTRL+ALT+END

2. Click on Change Password

3. Enter your old password and enter a new password twice

4. Done, log off RDS and log back in.

*In some circumstances, when changing your password outside of the office, you may need to continue to use your old password to log on to the computer only until you come to the office for the updated password to sync.*



Warning!!!

- DO NOT store windows passwords in browsers or in RDS icons on your desktop

- Update all mobile email applications (phone and tablets) with the new windows password
