Good afternoon,

Your email was forwarded to me from CaseWare. Since your licenses were purchased through Audimation, we provide your support as well.

My first thought is that the equation editor may be opening off screen. This happens sometimes when a user’s monitor configuration changes for some reason. For example, maybe you have your laptop connected to an additional monitor in the office, but took it home for the evening. Here is how we can test for that.

1. Open IDEA and any database.
2. Do a Direct Extraction and click the calculator button to replicate the issue.
3. On your keyboard, press and hold down Alt+Space Bar+M.
4. Release the keys.
5. Tap any arrow key on your keyboard one time.

This key sequence should lock the active window (the equation editor) to your mouse. So, when you move your mouse around, you should see the equation editor appear on screen.
