How to restart XCM XIS on RDS


If you get the prompt below when trying to attach or open a file in XCM, then the XCM plug-in has crashed. Follow the instructions below to resolve it.


1. CLOSE XCM and then go down by the clock in the taskbar and look for the XCM icon. ICON SHOULD DISAPPEAR WHEN YOU MOVE THE MOUSE OVER IT. 


2. Go to Start - All Programs and click on the XCM Integration Service icon


3. You should then see the XCM icon reappear in the Taskbar

 

4. Log back into XCM and test to make sure that you are able to open and attach files again. NOTE: if that does not resolve the issue, then try logging off and on of RDS before contacting IT.
